Rhino Linings is the world pioneer of the Spray-on Bed Liner. The company was founded in South Africa in 1983 when they became the first company to successfully apply Spray-On polyurethane to the load beds of delivery and recreational vehicles. Since its inception, Rhino Linings has remained the world leader in the application of Spray-On polyurethane, not just to the load beds of delivery vehicles, but also to a wide range of other applications.
We specialise in the developing, manufacturing and distribution of polyurethane chemicals and equipment. Rhino Linings International is located in Johannesburg, South Africa and at our headquarters we also have our own on-site chemical plant from where we distribute our proprietary chemicals worldwide.
From our humble beginnings as an idea for alternative truck bed protection we have expanded to an international company with hundreds of dealerships and retail accounts worldwide. Our products are now recognised as the superior method to protect the load beds of trucks and we continue to hold the title as the spray-on bed liner industry leaders.

When it comes to the protection of truck beds against abrasive and corrosive conditions our proprietary formulations provide the perfect balance between hardness and flexibility. This allows for the strength to withstand damage caused by impact and the flexibility to prevent load slippage. Although we are renowned for our superior truck bed protection a multitude of other application possibilities are proving themselves to be viable and lucrative profit centres for many of our dealers. We continually seek additional revenue centres for our dealers giving them more areas to profit from.
Rhino Linings Products
Rhino Linings spray-on polyurethane consists of two chemical components that, when mixed, form a solid protective coating which gives an air- and watertight bond to the surface. All our polyurethane formulas are MDI based and contain no CFC’s or VOC’s making them environmentally friendly. Our original XTREME COAT™ was originally developed for the protection of load beds of delivery vehicles, but other formulations have since been developed to solve the need for other applications that have transpired over the years. All these formulations have excellent protective qualities and because they are spray-applied and set within seconds they offer the advantage of little downtime compared to alternative methods that might be available. This is a very important factor for most decision makers when considering the downtime of their plant, operation or assets.
We also offer a range of complimentary chemicals such as XTREME BOND™, UV Top Coats, pigments and maintenance and cleaning chemicals. We also stock a range of Shop supplies including PerfectPull™ wire tape allowing for clean straight trimming edges without the risk of damaging the surface with a knife blade.
These chemicals are applied through our proprietary equipment that have been developed and perfected over our more than twenty year existence. It is a low pressure, low volume system that pumps the chemicals via two dispensing pumps to our airless / air assist static mixer. The system is user friendly, mobile and easy to operate requiring little maintenance.

Applications
Trucks
A truck is an investment. In most cases it is destined to be a workhorse transporting loads and exposing the load bed to abrasive and corrosive conditions. Rhino Linings offers permanent protection against impact, corrosive and abrasive damage. Our Spray-on polyurethane lining forms an air- and watertight bond to the surface, providing effective protection against the damaging effects of water, fertiliser, acids, fuels and other chemicals. Because of its toughness and physical qualities, Rhino Linings outperforms any other liner available, whether it is a drop-in liner; rubber mat; or paint-on liner.
Marine
Boats are continually exposed to the damaging effects of water, salt, weather as well as scratches and dents caused when launching or docking. Our thick durable coating provides excellent protection against these elements as well as a skid resistant surface. It forms a seamless finish that is easy to clean and it can be spray-applied in virtually any colour to compliment your boat/vessel. Because it is custom sprayed it is suitable for any size vessel from small dinghies to large naval vessels and it can be applied to storage compartments, galleys, walkways, engine rooms deck areas and many more.
Industrial
Many surfaces in an industrial environment are exposed to abrasive and corrosive conditions. Rhino Linings’ spray-on polyurethane have been tried and tested in some of the harshest conditions around the world. Our thick durable coatings have proven successful in various application environments in the agricultural, mining, petrochemical, telecommunications and many other industries.
